Our mission is to create a generation of young girls and women who support and empower other women. To foster that leadership, we must repair the harm done by systematic racism and sexism that often pits women and girls against each other. When a woman is walking in her purpose, she's not afraid to take other women along on her journey. We are stronger together.
As I child I survived poverty, sexual abuse, and a structurally racist system that always made me feel like "I was not good enough." Today, my mission is to tell young women and girls "You Are Enough!" As a #black woman, I know what it feels like to be told, "you can't do that; you're not good enough." I overcame tremendous odds to reach enormous success, destroying racist stereotypes along the way. As I crafted my leadership voice-- I discovered my passion+purpose--empowering girls and women of color. We don't need to compete, we must unite. When one #BIPOC girl wins, we all win. #justgo4it
